Panasonic HC-VX3 & HC-V900 - with 24x optical zoom

Panasonic releases two classic handheld video cameras for those who do not need the same functionality as hybrid cameras.

In addition to Panasonic's Lumix segment with dedicated hybrid and still cameras, they also manufacture more classic video cameras. They are now releasing the HC-VX3 and HC-V900.

The new cameras build on the VX1 and V800 from 2018, and are now equipped with USB C, remote control port, higher resolution display with touchscreen, and for the HC-VX3 also the possibility of timestamp and line-in audio.

Panasonic HC-VX3 can record video in up to 4K while HC-V900 can handle full-HD 1080p and 2K.

Both cameras have 24x zoom, but HC-VX3 has it with a wider angle lens at 25mm while HC-900 has 29mm at the widest angle. Both cameras have an aperture of f/1.8. Both cameras also have 5-axis built-in image stabilization.

Panasonic HC-VX3 has a recommended price of 8,990 kronor including VAT. Panasonic HC-V900 has a recommended price of 7,190 kronor including VAT.
