Sony A1, A1 II & A9 III get new features with new firmware
Sony releases new firmware for its flagship models, including support for Camera Authenticity, shutter speeds up to 1/80000, and more.
Sony is now releasing new firmware for the cameras Sony A1 II (Ver. 2.00), Sony A1 (Ver. 3.00) and Sony A9 III (Ver. 3.00). The updates provide improved photography, film, and operation functions, as well as increased compatibility with Sony Camera Authenticity Solution, their own solution for showing what has and hasn't been done with an image.
Among other things, the Sony A9 III now gets the feature where you can use shutter speeds of up to 1/80000 s at all aperture values when Exp. Value Expand is set to "On".
Sony A1 and A9 III jointly receive "Focus Magnifier" and "Auto Magnifier in MF" in the "Bright Monitoring" mode, use of the Custom Key setting on the AEL button and Delete button during playback, as well as notification of new firmware, to mention a few updates.
Sony A1 II receives improved image quality when applying User LUTs.
