Wise CFexpress 4.0 Type B MK-II CFexpress is the largest & fastest
With a read speed of 3700 MB/s, they snatch the top spot for the fastest CFexpress card - a 4 TB version is also released.
Memory card manufacturer Wise Advanced is now releasing four new CFexpress Type B memory cards - two of which set new records.
The Wise CFexpress 4.0 Type B MK-II is the name of all the cards, but they are released in two different speed classes, and with different sizes. The fastest are the two cards with the PRO addition that support CFexpress 4.0 technology, with read speeds up to 3700 MB/s and write speeds up to 3600 MB/s.
The Wise CFexpress 4.0 Type B PRO MK-II are specified to handle at least 3400 MB/s in continuous writing without interruption. The sizes are 660 GB and 1.3 TB.
At the same time, the other two cards, the Wise CFexpress 4.0 Type B MK-II, are the largest CFexpress Type B cards to date, with sizes of 2 TB and 4 TB. The cards write at a maximum of 3500 MB/s and read at a maximum of 2400 MB/s. These cards are specified to handle at least 2400 MB/s in continuous writing without interruption.
The cards will start selling in May. There is no exact Swedish price, but the 2 TB card will cost around 1000 dollars, the 4 TB card around 1860 dollars, the faster cards around 970 dollars for 660 GB and 1800 dollars for the 1.3 TB version.
