Fujifilm inleder samarbete med World Press Photo Foundation 

I samarbetet ska man bland annat arbeta med workshops, utställningar och den årliga fototävlingen World Press Photo.

World Press Photo Foundation som varje år bland annat arrangerar den stora fototävlingen för bildjournalister – World Press Photo – har nu ingått i ett partnerskap tillsammans med Fujifilm.

I samarbetet kommer man i partnerskapet att hålla workshops för fotografer i tio städer runt om i världen under 2024 och möjligheten att tillsammans skapa utställningar.

Fujifilm har även tidigare sagt att man vill slå sig längre in i bildjournalistiken och har vid släppet av bland annat Fujifilm GFX 100 II nämnt att kameran kan passa för den som arbetar med reportage – något som nu alltså blir av.

Samtidigt släpps även tre datum för World Press Photo Contest: 3 april 2024 släpps de regionala vinnarna, 18 april 2024 de globala vinnarna och 19 april 2024 öppnar fotoutställningen med vinnarbilderna i Amsterdam.

There have been numerous past winners who have used Fujifilm equipment to create their awarded work. Two examples include,

World Press Photo Story of the Year in 2021

 (shot using a FUJIFILM X-T1 camera).Please note that the jury is not provided information about which equipment is used, and this is not a consideration in their deliberations.
