Datacolor Lightcolor Meter - app-based light metering

Datacolor is now releasing a light meter and colorimeter - color meter - in one unit that functions as a further development of the traditional light meter. 

Datacolor LightColor Meter uses Bluetooth from the device to the mobile phone, and can measure light and color data in real-time directly to the app to provide information to the user. 

The device LCM200 and the app can together measure the color temperature from different points simultaneously, which simplifies and improves measurements for, for example, flash light, continuous light, or continuous flash.

Datacolor LightColor Meter provides color temperature, Duv (Delta u, v) which indicates the light's color shift towards the colors green or magenta, helping you determine if correction is needed for different light sources such as fluorescent lights, LED lamps, or natural sunlight.
