DJI Osmo Mobile 7 & 7P Released - with Smart Features for Mobile

DJI is now releasing two new gimbals for mobile phones with seventh-generation image stabilization.

DJI releases new gimbals for mobile phones - Osmo Mobile 7 and 7P. Both devices use DJI's seventh-generation image stabilization and also the Active Track 7.0 feature for smoother camera movements.

Osmo Mobile 7P is said to have a more robust and smarter three-axis image stabilization than Osmo Mobile 6, which should also be able to follow objects more easily through the new multifunction module. The module also allows for starting object tracking, taking a picture, and adjusting composition through hand movements.

Active Track 7.0 has become smarter and can now follow multiple objects like people, even if there are many people in a crowd. It is also quick to adjust which person should be in focus.

Osmo Mobile 7 is the lightest in its class, weighing around 300 grams. Mobile 7 can also use the multifunction module if purchased.

For easy handling, creators can use the side wheel to more easily compose and zoom, use manual focusing, or change color temperature and exposure. With the DJI Mimo app, it is also possible to use an Apple Watch to remotely control Osmo Mobile and take pictures.

The package includes a DJI OM magnetic quick-release mount, Mic mini transmitter, tracking kit, and grip tripod.

DJI Osmo Mobile 7 and 7P are available now. The recommended price is 159 euros for Osmo Mobile 7P. The simpler version, Osmo Mobile 7, has a recommended price of 99 euros.
