Seagate Exos Mozaic 3+: Largest to date with 30 terabytes

Record in storage for consumers who need extra large space for their photos and videos.

Both memory cards and hard drives are becoming larger and larger as camera file sizes and resolutions increase. Seagate has now launched its new Exos Mosaic 3+ which offers a whopping 30 terabytes of storage capacity.

Previously, we have seen, among other things, Seagate's 24-terabyte drives and Toshiba's planned release of 50+ terabyte drives, which have not yet been launched. Also, the price per terabyte has decreased over time, and storage is now relatively cheap compared to what it looked like a few years ago and during the component shortage that prevailed.

The new drives can be used by both companies and private individuals. An exact price is not yet available, but a quick calculation lands at 15 dollars per terabyte today, which would indicate a price of around 450 dollars for 30 terabytes, that is around 5,000 Swedish kronor.
