DJI takes the opportunity to launch a drone with a light weight - only 135 grams - making it their lightest drone to date. The low weight also means that it complies with the basic rules for drones that are under the weight limit of 250 grams, thus C-classified according to EU C0 regulations. Among other things, the propellers are protected for safer use.
The DJI Neo has a bunch of features similar to the larger drones from DJI, but at the same time it is also stripped down on technology. Among other things, it cannot photograph in raw format, but JPEG is used and then in 12 megapixels, while it can still film in 4K/30p or 1080/60p. However, for those who want to make more advanced video recordings, it has no support for HDR or Log profiles.

According to DJI, the focus on simplicity is the thing with the Neo, with the ability to quickly and easily start the drone, select a "program" setting, and then let it launch from the palm of your hand - for example, to focus on you as you walk away and film through the follow mode. The camera is stabilized in one axis, which means that the horizon will change when turning unlike drones with a dual-stabilized gimbal.
In addition, there are program features for neat camera shots that we recognize from other models. It is also possible to control everything from the app or control the drone through the mobile up to 50 meters, use the remote control for additional range or DJI Goggles 3 to use it as an FPV drone like DJI Avata.
The flight time is 18 minutes on a single charge and it charges via USB C, or the triple charging pack.
