Dockcase Smart Magsafe records 4K/60p ProRes with iPhone 15 Pro
The 2 TB magnetic hard drive can be connected to the iPhone 15 Pro/Max and record video in ProRes.
Dockcase continues to invest in its accessories and peripherals, this time with a hard drive enclosure specifically designed for Apple's mobile phones: iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
The hard drive connects via a USB cable to the phone and then provides a 10 gigabit transfer speed, which is more than enough to record in ProRes in 4K/60p for up to 150 minutes with the up to 2 terabyte storage. The device supports 2230/2242 M.2 SSD. The device weighs 53 grams and is 59 mm in diameter.
The device also supports 90W USB PD transfer and USB PD 3.0 connection, which also allows you to charge the connected device. With the magsafe feature, the device is held in place on the mobile by magnets.
The device supports Windows (7/8.1/10/11), macOS 10.14.6 and later, iPadOS 12.4 and later, Linux, Android, ChromeOS, Harmony, and Playstation 5.
The Dockcase Smart Magsafe M.2 NVMe SSD will cost about 80 dollars excluding storage media when it is released after its Kickstarter campaign.
